Marathon Week

Some weeks, you run 26+ miles in a day.  This week it was a major victory to do that over the course of a week.  My hamstring still makes me nervous.  It occasionally reminds me to pay attention to form, but it has not "sproinged" in a month. I managed the Prospect Park loop for the first time in months.  It's nice to be building up some base.  Maybe I'll be able to run the Brooklyn Half after all . . . .

  1. I'm building up for a April 9th half. Did 7.5 along the north branch of the Chicago River from the NW side to Skokie and back yesterday in sunny 45 weather. Slow as molasses but great fun and nothing sproinged on me either.

  2. I'm getting faster slowly. Still no sproinging. That is making me very happy, but not counting my chickens. I have become a bit Strava obsessive, but will save that for a post.
